NOTES REGARDING CASTING
Here is what we assume you have all been anxiously awaiting - the 2019 Cast List! Hopefully you will all be EXCITED about your role(s). To the extent you might not, we ask you to keep an open mind and not prejudge based upon character descriptions on the cast list (No one would be that silly, right? I mean, you don't even know the script yet!). Even upon looking at the script, many characters may not have lines but will have significant action, singing and dancing. This show is driven in large part by un-named and seemingly secondary characters. In fact, one of the reasons that casting takes so long is that the script is reviewed and modified in order to adapt to the available talent that auditions! More fine-tuning of characters will happen as rehearsals proceed. You will understand more when you review the posted script and, of course, at the orientation on December 2.
NOTE: For many cast members, the cast list reflects only primary roles. As we progress through rehearsals, additional roles will be identified and refined.
