Make sure to check the cast list to know all of your parts so far!
The script is in pdf format. Some red fonts are used in songs to note where lyrics have been changed from the original. There is no guarantee that there are not other new lyrics that did not get made red - so be attentive if you already know the song!
Please bring the script to orientation on Sunday as we will be doing a read through at that time. Also bring a pencil or pen for notes (and paper if you intend to review the script from an electronic device.
No hard copies of the script will be provided unless you request in advance AND bring $5 to cover our copying costs.
Prior to orientation, please study the script as much as you can in order to make the read through go more smoothly. For songs, you can find youtube versions to get familiar with them if you don't already know them.
If you are thinking your part is too small because you have no specific lines, take note: EVERYONE will have plenty to do and should feel they are making a contribution to the production (or I wouldn't have you in it); also, we only have 22 microphones so not everyone could have lines even if I wanted it to be so. Many of the characters are more about action, attitude and pantomime than lines - they are critical to the success of the show! It is expected that everyone will have plenty to do in the production. Keep this in mind if your primary role(s) do not seem so big at this time.
