NEW FOR THIS UPDATE: CRITICAL SHOW TIMING INFORMATION; A NEW SCRIPT WITH CHANGES IDENTIFIED LAST WEEKEND (AND A FEW ADDITIONAL CHANGES); A PRELIMINARY SALUTE SEGMENT SCRIPT; REMINDER RE REHEARSAL SCHEDULE FOR REMAINDER OF PRODUCTION; VOLUNTEER'S NOTE

CRITICAL SHOW TIMING INFORMATION
The show is still running on the long side and we need to be mindful that it must be wholly entertaining if we are to keep the audience engaged.
I WANT TO KEEP THE SHOW IN TACT (THAT IS, NO MORE CUTS), BUT WILL ONLY DO THAT IF WE PROVE BY THE END OF SUNDAY THAT EACH SEGMENT WILL BE ENTERTAINING TO THE AUDIENCE.  THIS CAN ONLY BE DONE WITH EVERYONE OFF BOOK AND POLISHED ON LINES, CHARACTER, TRANSISTIONS, ACTIONS, ENERGY, ENTRANCES/EXITS, AND THE REST.  IF ONE OR MORE SEGMENTS DO NOT MEET THIS REQUIREMENT, THEY WILL BE CUT FROM THE SHOW IN ENTIRETY IN ORDER TO MEET TIMING REQUIREMENTS!

NEW SCRIPT
Click on the script link at the bottom of this page to download a pdf of the script with the latest revisions - both those reviewed last weekend with cast members AND SOME ADDITIONAL MADE SINCE THAT WOULD BE NEW TO ALL!  In order to assist in finding changes, I have made the center column black next to any line that has changes made in the last week.  I hope I have not missed changing the color for all lines with changes, but you might want to review all of your lines just in case.

SALUTE TO AMERICA PRELIMINARY SCRIPT
Below the new script link, you will find a link to the preliminary script for the Salute to America portion of the pre-show segments.  The elements will be in the final version, the order to the two medleys, and the notes about stage movement, etc., may change, though.  You can, however, rely on learning the lyrics and those will not change.  The music will be posted to sendspace in the coming days.

REHEARSAL REMINDER

VOLUNTEER'S NOTE
Anyone who has volunteered for the show MUST show up this weekend to complete the processing and to start learning and working the rehearsals in anticipation of helping in the show.  Those who do not may jeopardize their receipt of a badge/tickets for the fair.  If you have questions or concerns about this - please contact Richard before this weekend at 760-409-6018.  Thanks
